Awesome place for families. Its great for swimming (check the council website, first) and for the playground. Public transport is also very accessible from the park.

Review №2

Nice park. Playground and public toilets. Good to walk around with a dog and fantastic sunsets over the water. Local cafe nearby as well.

Review №3

Superb scenic park. At one side Northshore bridge and one side, you can enjoy an incredible view of Sky tower. Park fully covered by Tasman waters and surrounded by tall and green trees. For kids a playing area, for a family barbecue pits, besides an excellent beach breeze..makes your time truly exciting at Pt Chev beach's Coyle Park!

Review №4

Nothing here to ruin my enjoyment of beach & park, with a cool little playground for the kids, & a nearby cafe for the grown-ups. Grounds are tidy &, fof the most part, litter-free.

Review №5

Very nice calm and quiet place. Little bit windy in the afternoon with the sea breeze. Really cool atmosphere and nice view on the sea. Highly recommend if you want to spend some lovely evening with your friends or family. There is a play ground for kids also.

Review №7

Positively the best park in Auckland. Flying fox was being repaired but still the dragon glowed and the views are really special. Nice paths ,public toilets and lots of parking. Great cafe and beach on doorstep. Good parking and public transport. A gem.

Review №8

Nice place to go for a short walk, (my husband and I). We ended up down by the beach and this morning the weather was perfect, I wanted to go for a swim but didn't bring my gears. Nice park for the kids with a train and flying fox. But when it gets wet it gets muddy and if you and your kids don't mind the mud then it's perfect. Nice place for a picnic and a view of the sea, plenty of tables and chairs and a field to play, as well as toilets and plenty parking. Enjoy.

Review №9

Park is nice not bad, it's been around for years, has a lot of nice shady places to sit. The flying fox and climbing thing is suitable for older kids but that's about it. The other play stuff is more for younger kids. Plenty of trees to climb, beach is easy to walk to, my parents used to take me to this park when I was a kid and now I take my kids here.

Review №10

Great for walking and having a picnic. Close to heaps of nice cafes.

Review №11

Awesome Park..The Kids really enjoy it the Flying Fox and train ride

Review №15

Lovely greenery that provided well needed shade from the hot summer sun!

Review №16

Point Chevalieru2019s Coyle Park is an enchanting place! The playground is so much fun, even for adults, I would say! Iu2019m sure I had more fun than my three year old nephew. The train, the shake boards and the luge is amazing! And what can I say about the beach- itu2019s fantastic!

Review №17

Review №19

Review №20

Closest to nature you can get in city. good views all around.. night views of harbour bridge and city skyline.. Dogs allowed.. parking can little tough to find on a sunny day

Review №21

Known this place for years, stunning views and play area for children. Really has something for all and connects with Pt Chevalier beach. If you'd like to see Auckland from a magnificent angle or have a calm picnic I'd definitely recommend Coyle Park.

Review №22

Family friendly park. Not really happy with dogs running around without lease.

Review №23

Aucklands prime picnic destination. Clean and safe.

Review №24

A cute spot to walk your dog and watch the sun go down.Features plenty of parking, a decent playground, public loos and a nearby beach. The only downside is the day drinkers who tend to gravitate here.

Review №25

Busy labor weekend but is better without all the rubbish lett behind

Review №26

Very nice lookout on Auckland City, Bridge and Rangitoto.Isn't so totally a park but it's very relaxing and quiet.

Review №27

Beautiful park and the beach. Love this place

Review №28

From Coyle Park at the end of the Point Chevalier Penninsula you can see the Te Atatu Penninsula with the Waitkere Ranges beyond. There are also great views of Auckland's inner Waitemata Harbour including the Meola Reef which, at low tide, appears to stretch almost halway across the harbour. Kauri Point on Auckland's North Shore is also clearly visible as is Auckland's Harbour Bridge. There's a good children's playground and Point Chevalier beach is just two minutes walk away. Coyle Park is easily reached by public transport and the is usually ample free car parking available. The only downside to Coyle Park is that on windy days it tends to be exposed to the breeze from most directions.

Review №29

Close to home. How lucky am I!

Review №30

I love to relax and watch the kids play in this park. Its near the beach which adds more beauty in the park plus the well kept grasses and tall trees around which makebit all the more fantastic.. Its spacious. Safe, and clean.

Coyle park is a nice place to bring your children when you have the weekend off work. They have a playground with a lot of variety, and toilets close by. We had a peaceful picnic, and took the kids to play. Very family friendly, the children had a great time. Luke especially enjoyed the train, and hannah liked the climbing frame. Would reccomend for a family trip.

Review №94

The layout is wonderful! Loved seeing trees hovering around for shade and the seats are so relaxing.

Review №95

Great family spot!! Awesome playground with flying fox and loads of space for families to picnic, or bbq. Surrounded by trees, there is plenty of shade on those hot summer days and the view is spectacular out across Auckland harbour and the bridge. There are public toilets and changing rooms with showers. Perfect to wash off the salt and sand when you return from the beach below the park, which is accessible via a public access pathway that descends from the carpark.Coyle Park is well known in the Auckland community as it is centrally located and popular as a function venue for concerts and the likes of the Big Gay Out.I would highly recommend anyone visiting Auckland to schedule Coyle Park in their sightseeing tour.
